SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Blackburn
Job Type: Full-Time, Term time only
Salary: £80 - £95 per day dependant on experience

We are currently seeking passionate and supportive Teaching Assistant's with prior experience in supporting learners with SEN to join our team in Blackburn.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant with Teaching Personnel you will have the opportunity to support a range of young people between ages 3 and 11, adapting the learning to support each student in achieving a positive learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1, 2:1 or in small group support to students with special educational needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and other professionals to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teaching team.
• Assisting students in their educational and social development.

Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in Special Education or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.
• Ability to adapt to different learning environments and work collaboratively within a team.
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
