SEN Learning Support Assistant
Job description
Teaching Personnel are currently on the lookout for Learning Support Assistants to support students within our SEN schools based in Kings Lynn.
Our SEN schools support children with a range of additional needs, varying from Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, Autism, ADHD as well as more complex needs.
Although classroom experience is desirable, we welcome applicants that have personal experiences with SEN, as well as individuals who have previous experience in the industries like the care sector.
About the role:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday (term time only)
- Day rate - £83.85 - £93.85
- In house training provided
Typical duties include:
- Working with students who need additional support either on 1:1 basis or in small groups.
- Motivating and inspiring children to learn and participate in classroom activities.
- Contribute to record-keeping by recording observations of pupils during the school day.
- Support the teacher with general classroom and behaviour management.
- Prepare lesson resources.
- Support the class teacher to help ensure the day runs smoothly.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
