Teaching Personnel are recruiting for an experienced individual to take up the role of Teaching Assistant in our client’s school. This setting offers alternative educational provision for those that need something different to mainstream education, wider curriculum pathways, those that need SEMH support and a fresh start in their journey.
You will be instrumental in the development of these young people as they grow and progress into adulthood. The needs of the pupils are severe therefore the successful Teaching Assistant will have some experience with SEN or Challenging Behaviour, personally or professionally or have a background in the care sector.
The ideal Teaching Assistant would have:
• Experience of supporting SEN or those in care
• Commitment and adaptability to the role
• A calm and patient manner
In addition, you will need to complete all necessary vetting checks including proof of identity, a DBS on the Update Service and producing two recent references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
