Pastoral Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel is recruiting for a Pastoral Support Assistant to work with a primary school in Wigan. Starting January 2025, you will provide support to children with emotional and behavioural needs, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.

The schools is located in Standish and has an excellent reputation in the area for the pastoral support it provides to its students. 

This is a temporary role with the view to a permanent contract later down the line. 

Key Details:

• Position: Pastoral Support Assistant
• Start Date: January 2025
• Hours: Full-time
• Pay Rate Starting At: £90 per day
• Contract: Trial period with the potential for a permanent role.

Requirements:

• Experience in a pastoral or supportive role working with children aged 4–11.
• Ability to build strong relationships and provide emotional support.
• DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
