Job description

Secondary School Teacher

Teaching Personnel are seeking secondary teachers across a range of subjects including English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, Music, Drama, Art/DT and General Cover to support schools around Swansea, and the surrounding area. Whether it be day-to-day, short term, or long term teaching in secondary schools, we can provide you with the perfect working opportunity.

 

Position – Secondary Teacher (with QTS)
Location – Swansea, Wales
Hours – Full time, long-term.
Salary - £166.32 daily rate


Responsibilities:

  • Create an Inviting Learning Environment: Help students develop essential study habits, while fostering an environment where they feel safe, motivated, and excited to learn.
  • Encourage students to use their critical thinking skills to solve problems and develop their imagination.
  • Collaborate with parents and other teachers in order to create a learning community that meets the needs of each student.

What we're looking for:

  • Must hold a recognised degree (or equivalent) with QTS.
  • Must have a passion for teaching students across Key Stage 3 & 4/5.
  • Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with parents, students, teachers, and administration.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure with a deadline and be able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
  • A full UK drivers licence (preferred)
  • Right to work in the UK.
