Job Title: Secondary SEN Tutor

Temporary, Part-Time hours
Salary:
£20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide specialised educational support to secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' specific needs
- Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions to help students achieve academic goals
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Knowledge of SEN support strategies and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to tailor teaching approaches to meet individual student needs
Education:
Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs
Experience:
Demonstrated experience working as a tutor or teacher with SEN students
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN regulations and best practises
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Proficiency in assessing student needs and developing suitable learning plans
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in SEN education
- Experience with different SEN conditions
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours
- Temporary position
- Work in a school setting with secondary school students
- Collaborative work environment with teachers, parents, and support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
