Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant, with a passion for supporting secondary students in Schools within Greater Manchester. We have the perfect opportunity for you. Teaching Personnel has current opportunities available for an Secondary Special Educational Needs, ( SEN)Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a difference to young peoples lives by delivering high quality education.
The Role
- Provide specialised support though targeted assistance with SEN, adapting learning materials and strategies to meet their individual needs.
- Track and monitor the progress of students, offering feedback to teachers, to ensure they are reaching key development milestones.
- Create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment, offering emotional support and guidance for students.
- Develop strong lines of communication with teachers, parents, and professionals involved in each students education, ensuring a holistic approach to their development.
Requirements
- Relevant work experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, particularly with secondary age pupils.
- Strong empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students develop and succeed.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team, adapting to meet the unique needs of every student.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
