We are seeking a Secondary Outreach SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 and small-group support for students who require additional help outside of a mainstream school setting. - Assist with academic learning, emotional regulation, and social development.
- Implement individualised learning plans in line with EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans).
- Work closely with SENCOs, teachers, and external professionals to ensure students receive the right support.
- Encourage engagement, confidence, and independence in learning.
- Provide behaviour support and implement de-escalation strategies where required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with SEN, SEMH, or students with behavioural needs in a school or alternative education setting.
- A patient, adaptable, and resilient approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
- Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with students, families, and education professionals.
- The ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
- A full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and business insurance to transport students if needed.
Why Join Us?
- Rewarding role – make a real impact on the lives of young people who need additional support.
- Varied and flexible work – no two days are the same, offering a unique and fulfilling experience.
- Supportive team – ongoing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
