Job Title: Secondary Maths Tutor

Salary:

£20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to secondary school students in Maths
• Create individualised lesson plans based on students' needs and progress
• Assist students in understanding mathematical concepts and solving problems
• Monitor and assess students' progress to adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Communicate with parents or guardians about students' progress and areas for improvement

Required Qualifications:

• A relevant degree in Mathematics or Education
• Previous experience in tutoring or teaching Maths at the secondary level
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to tailor teaching methods to suit individual student needs

Education:

Degree in Mathematics or Education

Experience:

Previous tutoring or teaching experience in Maths at the secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficient in Maths curriculum for secondary school students
• Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
• Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education
• Experience in working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

• Part-Time hours
• Flexible schedule based on student availability
• May require travel to students' homes or schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
