Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Secondary English Tutor to join our team in London, England. As a Secondary English Tutor, you will be responsible for providing academic support and guidance to secondary school students in the subject of English.
Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to secondary school students
- Assess students' learning needs and develop tailored teaching strategies
- Provide individualised support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with other educators and parents to support student learning
Required Qualifications:
- Experience teaching English at the secondary level
- Knowledge of the UK national curriculum for English
Education:
Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level
Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrated SEN experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective classroom management abilities
- Ability to motivate and inspire students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
This is a temporary, part-time position with flexible hours. The role may involve working with students from various backgrounds and abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
