Job description

Are you passionate about science and helping students achieve their academic potential? We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Tutor to start this Easter to support students in their studies and boost their confidence.

As a Science Tutor, you will provide one-on-one or small group tutoring in Biology, Chemistry, Physics to students of various levels, from Key Stage 3 through to GCSE or A-Level. You will tailor lessons to meet the individual needs of each student, helping them excel in their exams and improve their understanding of the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and informative science lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Help students improve their understanding of key science concepts
  • Provide exam preparation support, including tips and practice questions
  • Track and monitor students’ progress, offering constructive feedback
  • Motivate and inspire students to build confidence in their abilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
