Science Technician – Support STEM Education in a Thriving School
Are you a Science Technician with a passion for supporting practical learning in secondary schools? We are seeking a dedicated and organised technician to assist in science labs, ensuring practical experiments are safely and efficiently carried out.
About the Role
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment for practical Science lessons.
- Support Biology, Chemistry, and Physics teachers in delivering hands-on learning experiences.
- Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed, including chemical handling and risk assessments.
- Maintain an organised lab environment, keeping stock of necessary resources.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds relevant Science qualifications (degree, A Levels, or technician training).
- Has experience working in a lab-based or school environment (preferred but not essential).
- Possesses strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Is enthusiastic about STEM education and enjoys working with young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
