Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Fully Qualified Science Teacher to join our pool of supply staff. As a supply teacher with Teaching Personnel, you will have the flexibility to choose your assignments and work on a temporary basis in schools throughout Liverpool. Whether you're seeking short-term placements, day-to-day cover, or long-term assignments, we have opportunities to suit your availability and preferences alogn with permanent positions for those interested.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality science lessons in accordance with the national curriculum and school policies.
  • Adapt quickly to different school environments and effectively manage classroom dynamics.
  • Support students' learning and development by providing engaging and interactive instruction.
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the school or create your own engaging and effective lessons when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic progress as per school guidelines.
  • Collaborate with school staff and communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in science education.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Proven experience teaching science at the secondary level, preferably in a UK-based school setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different teaching environments.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to embrace new challenges and opportunities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
