Job Title: Fully Qualified Science Teacher
Location: Liverpool
Company: Teaching Personnel
Salary: £28,000 - £43,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Long-term or Permanent

Are you a passionate and fully qualified Science Teacher seeking an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation? Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated Science Teacher to join secondary schools across Liverpool. Role Overview:

As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and innovative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on your expertise. You will inspire students to develop a love for Science, foster critical thinking, and support their academic achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Science lessons tailored to diverse learning needs.
  • Teach Biology, Chemistry, or Physics to a high standard, ensuring student engagement and progress.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on students’ progress and attainment.
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity and respect.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum and share best practices.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A degree in Science or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Science at secondary school level (KS3 and KS4 essential, KS5 desirable).
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
