Your Role:

  • Engage and Inspire: Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Science lessons that ignite students’ curiosity and foster a love for learning. Use practical experiments, real-world examples, and interactive teaching methods to bring Science to life.

  • Foster Critical Thinking: Help students develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are essential in today’s world. Encourage them to question, hypothesize, and explore scientific concepts in depth.

  • Support Academic Excellence: Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted feedback that supports their academic development. Work closely with colleagues to ensure that every student has the opportunity to excel.

  • Collaborate and Innovate: Be an active part of the school community, collaborating with other educators to share best practices and innovate in the classroom. Your input will be valued in shaping the school’s Science curriculum.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for this role, alongside the right to work in the UK.

  • Specialism in Science: Whether your expertise lies in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science, we’re looking for teachers who can deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5).

  • Passion for Education: A deep love for Science and a strong desire to inspire and educate the next generation of scientists, engineers, and thinkers.

  • Strong Communication Skills: The ability to convey complex scientific concepts in a way that is accessible and engaging for all students, regardless of their ability level.

  • Commitment to Professional Growth: A willingness to continually develop your teaching practice and stay updated with the latest developments in Science education.
