DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE DELIVERING ENGAGING SCIENCE LESSONS COVERING A NUMBER OF TOPICS?

 

At Teaching Personnel, we are recruiting a science teacher to work on a full time basis at one of our amazing partner secondary schools in Oldbury (B69) !

The ideal candidate will have QTS, have experience delivering biology, chemistry and/or physics lessons to a range of ages and abilities across mainstream secondary schools.

 

Hours: Full Time (Mon-Fri) term time only

Pay: To scale (long term positions)

Location: B69

 

Qualifications/Experiences:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Bachelors degree in a science subject

- Experience teaching the UK science national curriculum in a mainstream secondary school

- Enhanced child only DBS on the update service ( or willingness to obtain one)

 

Roles/Responsibilities: 

- Plan a range of science lessons that ignite scientific curiosity amongst learners within each class

- Deliver engaging science lessons that sparks active debate

- Use a range of techniques and teaching strategies to promote active learning amongst pupils

- Assess pupils progress on a regular basis providing timely and informative feedback, condusive with their learning

- Work in collaboration with colleagues in the department to ensure it is a high performer within the school

- Contribute to wider school community where you can

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
