Your Role as a Science Teacher

As a Science Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in:

  • Delivering Engaging Lessons: Teach Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics to KS3 and KS4 students (KS5 experience is an advantage).
  • Inspiring Curiosity: Instill a love of science by creating exciting and practical learning experiences.
  • Promoting Academic Excellence: Support students to achieve their potential through differentiated lessons and tailored feedback.
  • Encouraging Critical Thinking: Foster analytical and problem-solving skills in your students.
  • Collaborating with Colleagues: Work closely with other staff to enhance the science curriculum and participate in school initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking dynamic individuals who have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Expertise in one or more scientific disciplines, with the ability to teach across the science curriculum.
  • A passion for education and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to safeguarding children.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching in varied educational settings.
