Position: Science Teacher

Location: NN1, Northampton

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in Northampton, who are looking to employ new Teacher of Science on a full time basis. The school are looking to take on a passionate teacher who demonstrates a care for education and allows students to flourish.The school in mind are an over-subscribed School based very centrally to Northampton in NN1. They have been rated an ‘Outstanding’ School by Ofsted, as well as ‘One of the best schools in the East Midlands’ renowned for consistently excellent results from their high quality Teaching and learning. Due to their locality, there are various modes of transportation routes for staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for various science subjects, fostering a love for the subject among students.
  • Utilize hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and other interactive teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
  • Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative methods.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-disciplinary concepts and enhance the overall science curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
  • Qualification in Science or experience Teaching the subject
  • 2 + Years Teaching Secondary Students
  • Strong Classroom Management
  • Good Knowledge of Biology, Chemistry and Physics
  • Ability to Teach Science up to A-level standard
  • A child only enhanced DBS (Or prepared to apply for one)
  • Full time availability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
