The Role
We are looking for dynamic science teachers to join our team and deliver exceptional lessons in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics. You will:

  • Engage and Inspire: Plan and teach exciting lessons that spark curiosity and foster a love for science.
  • Raise Achievement: Help students of all abilities achieve their potential through differentiated instruction and targeted support.
  • Promote STEM: Champion the importance of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in modern education.
  • Practical Learning: Facilitate engaging practical experiments and demonstrations that bring science to life.
  • Support Student Progress: Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored interventions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teachers: Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Subject Expertise: Confidence in teaching Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or general science at KS3, KS4, and/or KS5 levels.
  • Inspiring Educators: Ability to motivate and engage students, fostering a lifelong interest in science.
  • Classroom Management: Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
  • Team Players: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
