Science Teacher

Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher seeking a rewarding teaching opportunity? Look no further! Teaching Personnel are currently seeking dedicated individuals to work at reputable schools as Science Teachers in Northampton. We require a talented, enthusiastic and creative teacher to help lead the department to new heights of achievement. The Science department is key to the success of the academy. We are setting ourselves high targets for the development of Science across the curriculum. The successful candidate will have access to an outstanding Trust CPD programme and will be given the opportunity to gain either NPQ qualifications.
The role involves teaching general Science to KS3 and KS4 pupils and Physics, Chemistry or Biology to KS5 pupils. This exciting role offers the chance to inspire students through engaging lessons.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field.?? Teaching qualification or certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level (KS3 and KS4).
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Passion for Science and the ability to inspire and engage students in the subject.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to create a positive and supportive classroom environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
- Proven experience teaching Science at the middle or high school level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Adaptability to different teaching environments and student needs.
