Our client, a well-respected secondary school in Newbury, is seeking a motivated and skilled Science Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to develop their career in a dynamic and high-achieving environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 teaching opportunities may be available).

Inspire students in all areas of science, fostering curiosity and a love for the subject.

Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing feedback to support learning.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum and teaching strategies.

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all students.
-
Participate in extracurricular activities, such as science clubs or trips.

Contribute to the wider school community and uphold its values and ethos.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

A degree in Science or a related subject.
-
Experience teaching Science at secondary level (KS3 and KS4; KS5 is desirable but not essential).

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
-
A commitment to raising attainment and ensuring all students achieve their potential.

A passion for Science and a desire to inspire the next generation.
