Position: Science Teacher

Location: Morecambe, Lancashire

Start Date: November 2024 

Type: Full-time (Initially for the first term with the potential for permanent placement)

The Role:

As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide students in their journey to discover the fascinating world of science. You'll be responsible for creating engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of learning styles. Your passion for science will shine through as you lead students through hands-on experiments, captivating discussions, and thought-provoking activities.

Key Responsibilities:

-          Delivering high-quality lessons in accordance with the science curriculum.

-          Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation.

-          Providing timely feedback and assessments to track student progress.

-          Collaborating with fellow teachers to enhance interdisciplinary learning experiences.

-          Participating in school-wide events and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

-          Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

-          Strong subject knowledge in science disciplines.

-          Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

-          Ability to inspire and motivate students of various ages and abilities.

-          A commitment to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
