Opportunity to join a large secondary school in Bolton, known for its strong support system for staff and recent jump in performance tables.

  • Full-time Science teacher.
  • Start Date – ASAP
  • Must hold QTS and have experience teaching Science up to GCSE Level.
  • Teaching a full timetable across Key Stage Three and GCSE with full planning and marking responsibilities.
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (£30,000 - £46,525 per annum).

Working as a Science teacher in our client school, you will be expected to:

  • Support with the development of Schemes of Work in line with the National Curriculum for Science.
  • Plan, deliver and mark Science lessons to meet the needs of students at various levels of learning.
  • Attend parents’ evenings.

Our client school is in Bolton and can be accessed via the M62/A56/M66/A580 from surrounding areas such as Bury and Wigan. For non-drivers, there are several public transportation links from surrounding areas including a direct link from central Bolton, Horwich, Farnworth and Little Lever.

Both experienced and newly qualified Science teachers are welcome to apply for this position as all relevant induction support will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
