Job Opportunity: Resistant Materials Teacher – Secondary School (Spalding, Lincolnshire)

About the Role:

• Position: Resistant Materials Teacher

• Location: Spalding, Lincolnshire

• Pay: Starting at £180 per day, with the potential to increase based on performance and experience

• Hours: 08:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday (term time only)

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Resistant Materials across Key Stage 3 and 4

• Inspire students through hands-on learning, including the use of tools and materials

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that support practical skills and creativity

• Maintain a safe, well-organized classroom and workshop environment

• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support where needed

We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience in Resistant Materials or Design & Technology

• Experience teaching secondary students, with a focus on practical and hands-on subjects

• A creative and dynamic approach to teaching

• Strong classroom management skills

• A passion for encouraging students to think critically and design innovative solutions
