Qualified Teacher – NQT/ FQT
Cardiff & The Vale
Teaching Personnel are recruiting qualified educators of all levels of experience trained in any subject of the national curriculum who are looking for their next, or even their first, role in teaching.

Successful applicants will be vetting checked and cleared for work by Teaching Personnel which will require an enhanced DBS (registered on the update service), registration with the EWC & proof of QTS. Once cleared, teachers become available for work with any of the consultants who work with a plethora of schools across South Wales.
Teaching Personnel can offer both Full and Part-time roles for subject specific teaching positions as well as general cover positions, many of which extend and eventually lead to securing permanent employment. Teaching Personnel work with English and Welsh-medium schools so encourage applications on both languages.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality lessons that stretch and challenge pupils relative to their ability.
- In long-term positions there will be an expectation to plan and prepare lessons with materials and resources shared within the department.
- Display an ethos of inclusivity in all aspects of school life.
- Manage each classroom to a high standard, managing behaviour in line with the school’s discipline policy.
- Be committed to ensuring a strong safeguarding culture is maintained.
Requirements
- A teaching qualification (QTS)
- Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (applications for these can be supported)
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
- To have received teacher training within the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
