The Role – Teacher of Maths:
-
Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons to KS3 – KS5 students
-
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
-
Inspire and engage students to develop a strong mathematical foundation
-
Work collaboratively within the Maths department to enhance teaching and learning
-
Uphold high standards of teaching, learning, and classroom management
Teacher of Maths – Person Specification:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or completion of PGCE/SCITT
-
A 1st or 2:1 degree in a Maths-related subject
-
Strong classroom management and lesson-planning skills
-
Passionate about delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons
-
Ambitious and enthusiastic, with a nurturing approach to student development
