Role: Teacher of Maths

Salary: MPS/UPS, Dependent on experience

Contract: Fulltime, Permanent


An Ofsted-rated "GOOD" secondary school in Hammersmith is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Maths to join its vibrant and supportive teaching team from January 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about mathematics and committed to delivering high-quality education to students in a diverse and inclusive environment.

The Role:

  • Teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential opportunities at Key Stage 5).
  • Developing and delivering engaging lessons that cater to students of varying abilities.
  • Supporting the school’s ethos of nurturing a positive and inspiring learning environment.
  • Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral care.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a recognised teaching qualification in Maths.
  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (Key Stages 3 and 4 essential, Key Stage 5 desirable).
  • A strong subject knowledge in Maths and the ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons.
  • A commitment to raising achievement and ensuring that all students make good progress.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach, working effectively within a team.
  • A clear enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) is required for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
