Teaching Personnel works in partnership with a number of secondary schools across the Portsmouth area, one school in particular are currently seeking a Teacher of Psychology to support throughout the summer term. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified teacher to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
This role will be on a two weekly rotating timetable:
Week A:
Monday all day
Thursday all day
Week B:
Monday all day
Wednesday am
Thursday all day
Friday am
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Psychology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Follow a two-weekly rotating timetable, ensuring consistency in teaching and learning.
- Plan, assess, and support student progression in line with the curriculum.
- Work collaboratively with the department and wider school staff to enhance student outcomes.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Degree in Psychology or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Psychology at GCSE and/or A-Level is desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
- A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
