Looking for paid work experience?
Teaching Personnel work with a number of Secondary Schools across the Liverpool area, we are looking to recruit those with knowledge of Psychology to work alongside students with mental health needs and anti-social behaviours as Teaching Assistants.

Behaviours displayed by the students can be challenging so applicants must be prepared to practice de-escalation and calming techniques, as well as maintaining an empathetic approach and understanding the behaviour stems from other problems. Teaching Personnel are able to provide training opportunities in Child Psychology, Mental Health and Team-Teach for those looking to excel in the school based environment.
All these skills are transfereable to your future career and look amazing on CVs.
As a Teaching Assistant you must be caring, non-judgemental and supportive; building rapport is a priceless experience for these students who may suffer with low self-esteem, behavioural difficulties and disrupted family lives, and rely on their school network to provide safety and security for them.
