Teaching Personnel is partnering with specialized schools in Birmingham and actively seeks Psychology graduates to join as Learning Support Assistants right away.

Role: Psychology Graduate - Learning Support Assistant Location: Birmingham Working Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Commencement Date: Immediate Type of Employment: Temporary (Permanent for eligible candidates)

We also extend a warm welcome to graduates with credentials in Psychology, Criminology, Sports Science, Sports Coaching, Social Work, Educational Studies, Youth and Community Studies.

As a Psychology graduate in this position, you will be providing support to children and young adults with additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, Mild/Severe Learning Difficulties, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health conditions. Your duties will span both within and around the classroom. To thrive, adaptability, flexibility, the ability to swiftly cultivate positive relationships, strong communication skills, and a compassionate, empathetic disposition are essential.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology (or a related field). Highly preferable: Previous experience in working with children or individuals with special needs. Must possess a DBS check or be open to applying for one. Key qualities: Patience, empathy, and superb communication skills. A sincere passion for fostering the development and well-being of children.
