Location: Birmingham
Pay: £415 – £445 per week
Hours: Full-time (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday)
Start Date: September

What’s the Role About?

We’re looking for enthusiastic Psychology graduates to join a well-established specialist school in Birmingham, where you'll support students with a range of needs, including:

  • Autism (ASC)

  • Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH)

  • Learning challenges

As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll help students reach their potential by providing both one-on-one and small group support. You’ll be instrumental in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where students feel safe and empowered.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students on a one-to-one or small group basis, helping them with their learning

  • Encouraging independence and building essential life skills

  • Working with teachers and other professionals to provide personalised support

  • Creating an inclusive and supportive environment where students thrive


Who Are We Looking For?

We want to hear from you if you’re:

  • A recent Psychology graduate (or studying a similar degree, e.g., Social Work, Youth Studies, Criminology)

  • Passionate about supporting young people with additional needs

  • Patient, empathetic, and ready to make a difference

  • Eager to gain valuable experience in an educational setting
