Flexible Teaching Assistant Position

Location – Bristol

Perfect for criminology/psychology Graduates

Daily rates -  £90 - £100 per day

Have you just finished your university degree in criminology or psychology and are looking for you next career move? Well we are seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to support pupils with additional learning needs (SEMH). This role will be working with students between the ages of 5-16. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and making a difference in children's lives, in particular social, emotional, and mental health.

 

What you’ll do?

  • Support children with SEMH either one-on-one or in small groups.
  • Enjoy the flexibility of being able to choose which day you work and what days you don’t.
  • Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities tailored to the needs of the students.
  • Asissting with the implementation of education, health and care plans (EHCP's).
  • Helping to create and safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.

 

Who we are looking for?

  • Someone with a passion for working with children with additional needs
  • Students with a wide study background, including psychology and criminology and sports coaching.
  • Experience isn’t required, as long as you have the passion and determination we would love to hear from you!
  • Personal SEN experience (family and friends)
