Job Title: Primary Tutor

Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Provide high-quality tutoring to primary school students
• Develop tailored lesson plans based on students' needs and abilities
• Assess students' progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
• Utilise a variety of teaching methods to engage students and enhance learning
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students' academic growth

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience working with primary school students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of primary school curriculum and assessment methods
• Ability to create engaging and effective learning environments
• Excellent organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education
• Experience with SEN (Special Educational Needs) students

Working Conditions:

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, typically outside of regular school hours. The tutor may need to travel to different locations to provide tutoring services.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
