About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with students who have a range of additional needs. This is a rewarding role where you will play a key part in helping students achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to children with special educational needs in both 1:1 and small group settings.
• Assist in the delivery of individualised learning plans, ensuring students are engaged and making progress.
• Help with the implementation of strategies to support behaviour, communication, and social development.
• Work alongside the class teacher and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students with personal care when required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children, ideally in an SEN setting, or a passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• A commitment to helping children succeed and develop to their fullest potential.
• A relevant qualification (such as Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is desirable but not essential.
