**Teaching Assistant Opportunities for September 2024**
Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our growing team of education professionals for the new academic year starting in October 2024. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about supporting pupils and making a positive impact in the classroom.
Job Details:
Full-time and part-time roles available
- Variety of roles, including:
- General classroom support
- 1:1 Special Educational Needs (SEN) support
- Group intervention and small group work
- Competitive hourly rate of £83.85 per hour
- Opportunities to work in a range of schools across Cardiff
- Ongoing support and training provided by our experienced team
Responsibilities:
- Provide general classroom support to teachers and pupils, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils with SEN needs, including developing individualised learning plans and providing targeted interventions
- Work with small groups of pupils to provide additional support and challenge
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation, marking, and other administrative tasks as required
- Develop strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents to ensure a collaborative approach to learning
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
