Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Job Duties:
- Assist teachers in delivering educational activities
- Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students
- Support students with their learning and development in a positive and inclusive environment
- Help prepare classroom materials and resources
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
- Previous experience working with children or young people
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of child development and learning processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with diverse groups of students
- Empathy and patience in dealing with young learners
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
The Teaching Assistant role is based in a school setting in Cardiff. The position is temporary and requires full-time hours during term time. The role may involve assisting students with special educational needs and disabilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
