Primary School Teacher – Supply Basis
Location: Primary Schools Across Bristol
Contract Type: Supply Basis – Flexible Days to Suit You
Salary: Competitive, Based on Experience

Are you a passionate and dedicated primary school teacher looking for flexible work? Do you want to make a difference in a variety of school settings while maintaining a great work-life balance? We are currently recruiting for Supply Teachers to work in primary schools across Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across a range of primary school year groups.
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the school, ensuring that pupils receive engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, supportive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to maintain consistency and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Provide feedback to the school on the progress of students and any challenges that arise.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in primary education (preferred).
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with pupils and staff quickly.
  • A proactive and positive attitude towards work.

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £49.50, plus an annual subscription fee of £16 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
