Job description

Are you a passionate and inspiring teacher looking for a part-time role in a nurturing and supportive environment? A school based on the beautiful outskirts of Bath, is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our welcoming team. With smaller mixed-age classes and a collaborative staff community, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a setting that values the individual strengths of every child and teacher.

Your role will involve:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of mixed-age Key Stage 2 classes.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that enables all students to thrive.
  • Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of staff to ensure a cohesive and enriching curriculum.
  • Support the pastoral care of students, contributing to their personal, social, and emotional development.
  • Engage with parents and carers, building strong relationships to support students’ learning journeys.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2, with the ability to adapt lessons for mixed-age classes.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with staff, parents, and students.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to helping every child achieve their potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
