Job Title: Primary Teacher- Year 3/4 

Location:

East Midlands, Leicestershire, Whitwick (Coalville area)

Job Type:

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours to cover a maternity leave. 

Start date- TBC (Mos likely when school's reopen after the Easter break in April), covring until March 2026.

Job Duties:

As a Primary Teacher, your responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress
  • Creating a positive learning environment
  • Communicating effectively with parents and colleagues
  • Implementing behaviour management strategies

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Previous experience as a Primary Teacher preferred. Confidence to deliver the curriculum across year 3 and 4. 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Effective behaviour management techniques
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Organisational skills

Working Conditions:

You will be working in a friendly and welcoming school setting, following the school term calendar. This role may require occasional participation in extracurricular activities or events, and attending parents' evenings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
