Job description

Job Title: Primary Teacher- Year 3/4

Location:

East Midlands, Leicestershire, Coalville, Whitwick. 

Primary school within a large Multi- Academy Trust. 

Job Type:

Temporary, Full time hours. April 2025- March 2026 (Fixed contract)

Salary:

£140 - £185 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to primary school students in a Year 3/4 class
  • Create a positive learning environment
  • Assess and evaluate student progress
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Become 'part of the team' within the existing school staff. 

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting- experience teaching in a split class would be desirable. 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the primary school curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
  • Excellent classroom management skills- calssroom of 30-31 pupils.
