Key Stage 1 Teacher (Maternity Cover) Needed in North Hampshire

Do you have a flair for inspiring young learners and making their first years of formal education memorable? Teaching Personnel is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a primary school in North Hampshire on a long-term maternity cover position. This role is perfect for a teacher who thrives in a positive and nurturing environment and is passionate about delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.

About the Role:

  • Position: Key Stage 1 Teacher (Year 1)
  • Location: A well-regarded primary school in North Hampshire
  • Start Date: ASAP (or following February half-term)
  • Contract Length: Long-term maternity cover with the possibility of extension or permanent position
  • Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

What We’re Looking For:

  • A fully qualified Key Stage 1 teacher (QTS or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching Year 1 students and a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
  • Creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with the ability to make learning exciting and accessible
  • Excellent classroom management and strong communication skills
  • Someone who is patient, caring, and able to tailor lessons to meet individual student needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
