Job description

We are partnering with a Primary School in Irlam that is looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher to become a part of their dynamic and supportive team. This position is set to begin after Easter, and the ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing an inspiring and inclusive learning environment for children.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for teaching and nurturing Year 5 students, planning and delivering engaging lessons, and actively contributing to the school’s development. You will play an essential role in a collaborative team, working with other staff members to ensure the best possible outcomes for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons tailored to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters students' academic, social, and emotional growth.
  • Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to both pupils and their parents.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to share best practices and continually improve teaching strategies.
  • Support the school’s values and contribute to the broader school community.

About You:

  • You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • You have a passion for teaching and a commitment to providing a high standard of education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 is preferred.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a team-oriented approach to working with students, colleagues, and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
