Job description

We are working with a Primary School in Oldham who are actively seeking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join their vibrant and supportive team. The successful candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to creating an inspiring and inclusive learning environment for children. This position is due to start from Easter.

You will be responsible for teaching and nurturing pupils in Year 5, planning and delivering engaging lessons, and contributing to the overall development of the school community. You will be a key part of a collaborative team, working alongside other staff to ensure the best outcomes for every child.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the development of students' social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Assess students' progress and provide regular feedback to pupils and parents.
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
  • Support the school's ethos and contribute to the wider school community.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to providing an outstanding education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in teaching at either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 is preferred.
  • A positive attitude and a team player who can engage with students, colleagues, and parents effectively.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
