Job Duties:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to primary school students
• Assess and monitor student progress to provide feedback and support
• Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Enhanced DBS check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Prior experience teaching primary school students is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of the primary school curriculum
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Effective classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
• Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students

Working Conditions:

• Work in a classroom setting within a primary school environment
• Full-time hours with additional planning and assessment time
• Potential for temporary assignment extensions based on school needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
