Job Title: Primary Teacher

Location: South East England, Surrey, Croydon

Job Type: Contract, Full-Time

Salary: £160 - £180 Per day

Job Duties:

The Primary Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to primary school students, following the national curriculum. They create a positive learning environment, assess student progress, and provide feedback to students and parents. The teacher collaborates with colleagues to enhance teaching practises and participates in school events and meetings.

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

- Knowledge of the national curriculum

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required.

Experience:

Prior experience in teaching primary school students is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Familiarity with teaching methods and educational tools

- Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs

- Effective classroom management skills

- Proficient in assessment and feedback techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

- Experience working with diverse student populations

- Additional certifications in special education or other relevant areas

Working Conditions:

The Primary Teacher will work full-time hours on a contract basis, following the school calendar. They may participate in extracurricular activities and professional development opportunities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
