The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Inspire a love for literature and language, helping students develop strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of all learners, ensuring every student makes progress.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and the wider school community.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to support improvement.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS/PGCE or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level, with strong subject knowledge.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • A proactive approach to professional development and a willingness to contribute to the school’s ethos.
