Primary Teacher
Job description
At Teaching Personnel, we are working closely with a Primary School in Cheetham Hill who are actively seeking for a passionate and enthusiastic teacher who can support students within their reception class. This school has recently received an outstanding rating from Ofsted. The successful educator will be working in a full-time role (8:30am-3:30pm) and is required to start in school from as soon as possible.
The school have identified that they’re looking for someone who is flexible. The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, caring, energetic and self-motivated with a love of children and the desire to help every individual reach their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons tailored to the needs of Reception-aged children.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and confident.
- Assess and track the progress of pupils, providing feedback to children and parents.
- Support the development of children’s social, emotional, and physical skills.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff members to support learning and wellbeing.
- Ensure that the classroom environment is stimulating, organized, and conducive to learning.
- Develop strong relationships with parents and guardians to support each child’s learning journey.
- Maintain a high standard of professional development and contribute to the overall ethos of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
