Job description

Nursery Teacher required for March start maternity leave for an OFSTED rated GOOD Primary School in Prestwich (M25)

A delightful one and a half entry primary school in Prestwich are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years teacher. You will be part of a supportive and hard working team of staff that have the success of their children at the forefront of everything they do.  The position is within Nursery to start in May.

 The school are looking for a Nursery teacher who is:-

-          Enthusiastic and is committed to high standards and has high expectations of behaviour and raising  pupil potential and achievement

-          An outstanding classroom practitioner

-          Enthusiastic about providing exciting learning experiences for the children in a cross curricular context

-          Enthusiastic about working with other adults to move the school forward

Teachers must be familiar with the EYFS Curriculum and have recent experience in the last 3 years. The headteacher in looking for someone who has a genuine passion for working with young children and understand the importance of early years learning. An understanding of continuous provision, outdoor provision and knowledge of phonics schemes would be beneficial. Experience of subject specialisms and/or experience of co-ordinator roles would also be advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
