Year 5 Teacher Required - Easter Start until end of the academic year

Position: Year 5 Teacher
Start Date: 22nd April 2025 
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (until the end of the academic year)

Are you a passionate and dedicated primary school teacher? We are working with a well-regarded primary school in Blackburn, who are looking to appoint a Year 5 Teacher to join their vibrant and supportive team. This position is available for an immediate start, lasting until the end of the academic year.

Your Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Year 5 students across all core subjects.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing tailored support where necessary.
  • Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create an enriching educational experience for all pupils.
  • Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all students under your care.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Year 5 or upper KS2 is preferred, but not essential.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
  • A dedication to making a positive impact on students’ learning and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
