Year 5 Teacher

Are you an experienced and passionate Year 5 Teacher looking for your next exciting challenge? We are currently seeking a Full-Time Year 5 Teacher to cover a maternity leave at a large, vibrant school in Blackburn (BB2) starting in September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and contribute to the education of Year 5 students in a thriving school community.

Role Details:

• Position: Year 5 Teacher (Maternity Cover)

• Location: Large school in BB2, Blackburn

• Start Date: September 2025

• Contract: Full-Time (Maternity Cover)

• Pay: Competitive, to scale

• Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5 students.

  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to the school community.

  • Lead a subject area within the school curriculum, helping to develop and inspire students.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching at Key Stage 2 (KS2).

• A passion for teaching and the ability to engage and inspire students.

• Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.

• A proactive approach to planning and delivering creative lessons.

• Willingness to take on the responsibility of leading a subject area.
